Work has already begun in The Halls to clean and clear the building. There are loads of sheep in the Market Place.
Dramos goes to Perfect Glass and speaks with the new owner, Seline - an older woman, human with angled features and shoulder length hair. She has a bunch of gems available, but very few diamonds.
The Tiefling requests a custom job - a platinum banded ring, with a 200gp diamond, two obsidian stones and an etching of the symbol of Dariss. She charges 20gp for her work and two platinum coins for the band. She says that it'll take two days, starting tomorrow.
Harbinger goes to find Sten. She helps Andro move a large desk into his new office, breaking the doorframe and leaving a donation for the repairs. She then goes to Sten's office and discovers Goraz talking his ear off.
Sten suggests taking another council member to the meeting because he will be to harsh - he wants justice. He says he doesn't trust Boro, but he may be suitable.
Dramos uses message to speak with Ascol from house Opet, a tongue and handless man from the elves. The reply is whispered, but can be heard in full by Dramos. He tells the tiefling that the elves will consider him spoiled.
In the Market Place there is a man prancing round, trying to convince people to come to The Arena and fight. There is a hairy guy demonstrating - The Beast.
Thorum gives his name - Thorum The Taker - with his manager Nanny Stonewall and The Short Police Man. The Arena spokesman talks about the Hurricane. Thorum says he has fought in arenas before on the mainland.
Evandrielle, Sylleth and Datura all approach the Elven Quarter. A group of silver-armoured warrior exit the gates and request details of the individuals. Pencionn is their leader. Sylleth names his family heritage of house Chadarr, and the elves indicate that Estellarr Myste is present as senior representative.
They adventurers are forced to wash and then pointed to The Shaded Green as an option for drinks. Pencionn indicates that the elves are mining Genai Stones and shipping them from the far north to the homeland, Nadarr.
The elven patrols have a capable spell caster with their guards to ensure no deception or danger is occurring. During the Sack of Myste-Hass the elves limited their arcane sales and mining to prevent drawing attention to themselves. As the adventurers pass the magic shop, they see that the store has been completely cleared out. There is no poverty in the Elven Quarter.
A procession of elves arrives and find the group at the Shaded Green. Nimrethe speaks to the group. He has been sent from the Pure Palace. Estallarr would like to speak with them. Dramos scrys on Evandrielle, watching their events.
Datura makes the case that a meeting must happen with a delegation and Estallarr is keen to avoid war or further conflict. Estallarr asks for the adventurers to vouch for the none-elven morality, ensuring that they will respect the elven ways, despite being directly against King Myloch's wishes. They decide that they will create an area to speak with the adventurers. His terms are - the none elves must cleanse themselves and respect the elven ways. In return, they'll listen to what we have to say. Sylleth sends a note with all of those details, basically pressing the idea that they must be on their best behaviour.
Boro indicates that helvettians have come and he wants to interview them and then immediately deploy them into the city of Myste-Hass.
Harbinger speaks with Altibo, asking him to take her into the Elven Quarter. He says he wants to go to the Temple of Imogen to check out a potential evil doer who is under the care of Engaro. Harbinger agrees to take him to the temple if he does not dive into the Elven Quarter. He asks that he could not be tasked with menial jobs again. Harbinger explains that the last time she chose not to ask him to look after the horses, they were stolen and taken away.
Reinhold contacts Bern - she is well, in Myste-Hass, but keeping her head low as to not attract attention. She will be returning home soon.
Thorum explains his crazed demon goat situation, connecting it to Bern.
The adventurers meet at the gates to the Elven Quarter, talking with the envoy Pencionn. Altibo carries Harbinger into the sky whilst introductions occur, then corkscrews from the sky to meet the others.
The adventurers wash.
Boro begins the flattery immediately. Poles and sheets have been erected all along the street, separating the adventurers off from the elves. There are two men who guard Estallarr - one with dark hair and one with white hair, both very similar. Food and water is provided. Estallarr's voice is clear, projected much like Morthel did.
The elves worship all the god, especially Alaie. They struggle to accept the introduction of Fate though, being a long-lived species.
The man is wearing the house crest of Nesquidarr.
Reinhold gets stuck in, asking the difficult questions. He claim is that they immediately lost their part of the fight. It was not easy, they had to weigh the lives of some against others. They hope to aid the healing process. He claims magic is scarce, but as an act of friendship, they offer to perform limb restoration to everyone who ahs lost their tongues and hands. All who suffered at the hands of Morthel will benefit from the healing of the elves.
We have suffered, but this will redress the balance. King Myloch is abroad at this time.
King Myloch is a unique and forwarding thinking individuals. It is only through his thinking that they have opened up as much as others. Purity remains vital to the continuation of the elven race.
Harbinger asks about the elven boat at the Fallen Palace, and he admits that they knew that Morthel was a threat. But, he did not know of the intent to take the city.
Villerr Nesquidarr and Eldath Nesquidarr were taken by Morthel, prisoners. But, they were warned that if they took action, Kalia Nesquidarr's kin would be killed.
Estallarr apologises on behalf of all the elves. Their safety was bargained for. Their powerful sorcerers could not find them. King Myloch is out there now looking for them. o=You must be aware that Morthel was in the process of capturing spirit-bound items from us, hundreds of years of condensed power purified and matured. He has at least twelve items.
Sylleth casts detect magic and amongst the magical items, the Pure Palace and the guard's, Balruin, spear glows with a clearer aura. You can attune to the item and speak freely with soul within.
Estallarr says he must be cautious when Dramos raises the topic of espionage.
Thorum pushes the idea that there should be arena fights between the elves and the other side. Balruin is taunted and has to be sent indoors.
Estallarr tries to hide the fact that King Myloch has kept the loss of Kalia's kin. Dramos asks for objects belonging to the missing elves. They give Dramos a necklace, or badge of sorts, that belonged to Eldath Nesquidarr and a portrait of Villerr Nesquidarr.
As a further offer of good nature, they will provide some of their excess and preserved foods. He assures he will treat all communication with the council as important.
Datura is offered a place to stay temporarily, because they do not have visitors. As long as they obey and respect the rule the elves are free to move in and out of the different parts of the city.
