After eight hours rest, Father Howell, Nazzak, Sylleth, Gunther, Cao and Slab awake from eight hours of rest.
Sylleth reads from his Magical Book, he closes his book to rest, but awakes from meditating with the book open in his lap. The pages show a section on a group of mortals, individuals that existed before the gods, giving gifts to the more primitive creatures of the time - lizard-like creatures, hulking individuals. One of the pictures shows a large man with his arms spread, with a crowd on their knees before them. This individual could grant you exactly what you want, showing you the steps needed to achieve this goal.
As Sylleth turns the page, the skin on his finger is dried and cracked, splits and seeps blood onto the paper. The book sucks the droplet in. Sylleth feels fully rested.
Sylleth seeks out a section that mentioned a curse and finds nothing of the sort. Instead, it mentions how much the book will aid someone and those who are loyal to him.
Sylleth summons an undead ghost before everyone awakes, to beat on the barrier. Nazzak immediately awakes, and runs out hitting the creature twice.
Nazzak tries to put out a fire in the chamber but accidentally makes the fire worse. Chaos arises in the process of putting the fire out.
Exploring the Temple of Imogen, Nazzak finds the teleportation circle.
Gunther prepares breakfast and the group eat.
Sylleth looks for Nazzak and discovers that he has disappeared.
Nazzak finds himself outside, at the base of a mountain. There are five columns surrounding a circle that is not illuminated. A little horned creature is there - a satyr. It introduces itself as Briney. He asks if Nazzak wants to be friends. He says that Nazzak is at the Vale of Domon. Everything in Vale of Domon is just lovely.
Briney asks about Karr and how its spelled. Then goes off to do his morning ritual. Slab appears.
Father Howell writes a notes - "Teleportation active. Got sucked through. Send help. Howell, Nazzak, Sylleth, Cao, Slab and Percival.
Eventually, everyone enters the circle.
Gunther and Percival speak with Briney. Yesterday, I spoke to a group who knew exactly where they were going. They were very aggressive, but they calmed down when I offered them breakfast. There were five of them. A man and a woman, the others were dressed in plate. He said the name was Roland. Roland was very nice, calmed them all down. He left them resting at his place, because they were badly injured.
Briney says that people use the columns to activate the circle. The stones look natural.
Sylleth discovers that there are additional symbols, newly engraved.
Percival accompanies Briney for his morning ritual, to a bush devoid of leaves. The woods has been made into the form of antlers. Briney slides his fingers into the bush and closes his eyes. Percival talks to his necklace who tells him he is fed up with the questioning. Then Percival kills Briney, giving the soul to Verru.
Slab searches the creature and find a slender gem, on a leather cord which vibrates with magic.
Looking over the water, there is a series of villages on islands.
Engaro sends Father Howell a message, saying he'd found the note and asking questions. He suggests that following would be a bad idea. Father Howell said they didn't know how to activate the circle and they were pursuing people who have fled Myste-Hass.
The group head off towards the town where they believe Briney lived. Depressions in the natural environment and wild grass suggests a giant came through her.
An ogre steps out on the road in front. Nazzak speaks in orc, and the creature responds in broken orcish - "No see black big fruit hide."
The group dives for the trees, and a shadow passes over the group. A black dragon flies over, then lands.
Cao alights his magical sword and the challenges the dragon. It's frightful presence terrifies the group, then attacks.
The dragon flies away, saying - "It's early in the day. I'll see you at lunch." He flies east.
The plume of smoke we're moving towards is in the west.
Percival tries to offer up the ogre soul which died in the contact, but Varu is angry. He claims it is not a sacrifice. If he stops giving souls, there will be consequences.
An hour to the west, we reach the waters edge. There is a large mountain in the centre of the water.
There is a number of satyrs at the village. A man introduces himself as Frime, telling us that the people who were staying with Briney have taken his boat and are heading for Wolfspine. Frime said that the group will be returning the boat tomorrow. Alisoar is the best person to speak too about the circle, she knows how to use the teleportation circle.
There is a small hole in the pillars which you can slide a small gem in to activate it. These gems have to be recharged in the north by Doman. They go all black when used up.
Slab mentions Morthel, and they say he was always nice to them. Morthel gave them circle, and taught them to use it. He told them that friendly people would come through.
Briney was praying to Alaie.
Rogan was here this morning, with Elise.
Sometimes Morthel would gift them with cooking pots, blankets and other trinkets. In return, they helped them with Lord Doman. He is a benevolent figure who does nothing but help us. He is very powerful, with magical powers.
The woman rolls up her rug and gives it to Cao.
To pray, Alisoar just goes to an area that is most undisturbed.
The dragon doesn't come anywhere near if they stay in town. They have to be careful if they wander anywhere though.
Percival approaches an elderly woman whilst seeking some items for his burial site. He closes the door as they enter his house. On the wall is a symbol of antlers etched on the wood.
Percival covers the woman's mouth whilst she looks for things for Briney's grave. The woman is killed by inflict wounds. Gunther turns up and stumbles on the scene. Percival says that he might be cursed.
Gunther shouts that Percival is unwell, that he might be cursed. The others get involved. Sylleth casts detect magic and noticed the necklace, Percival says it helps to communicate with the gods at shrines.
Nazzak charges Percival, knocking him down and stabbing him when he's down. He's healed by Gunther, then knocked down again. Then healed by Slab, then taken down again by Nazzak. Howell jumps in, stabilising Percival and stopping Nazzak.
Alisoar heads back to the circle with the group and the necklace that Slab is wearing. They all have a small circular stone, but they can't work out which was one is to Myste-Hass.
Gunther gives Alisoar the body of Briney and a etched slab of slate, with a picture and description of Briney. Father Howell determines that the most easterly stone, stone number two, is most worn and burnt by Genai Stones.
The group gifts Alisoar the book of spices, a bear trap and the blanket Cao had been wearing (stolen from Myste-Hass).
Everyone goes through the portal back to the Temple of Imogen.
