The Myste-Hass Calender

Berticus, Father Howell, Sylleth, Jerek, now wielding the Dragon-Slayer Longsword, Mrs Stonewall and Nazzak head west towards the coast on horseback, when two wyverns drop from the sky assaulting the group. Jerek's horse is killed.
The wyverns are drawn to the softer targets, Sylleth and Father Howell, and the wyvern stings Father Howell, killing the priest of Imogen outright.
Sylleth pours the "Potion of New Life" into Father Howell, miraculously bringing the cleric back from death.
Berticus kills the wyvern in a stroke aided by Garr.
Recovering, Nazzak carries Father Howell to the coast and then the group stop to cast water breathing and walk on water.
Nazzak pulls a chunk of Jerek's plume out of his Helvettian helmet, which the paladin has to fix.
The adventurers head out to sea, avoiding the walls of Myste-Hass as much as possible and then head back inland blending in with the ocean and approaching the south-western sea cave entrance to the Myste-Hass Catacombs.
The party leave J'esus with the other horses and move into the narrow caverns. There are clearly areas where there have been collapses, they head left and then reach a door. The door is wooden with metal clasps. Inside an opening into a wide corridor and the sewer system. It smells bad, really bad.
They turn back, attempting to move right towards the centre of town. There has been substantial rock fall here. Mrs Stonewall finds some markings etched in the wall, badly worn. The markings are too worn to read.
The group move some rocks and squeeze deeper, heading to find the chamber where Throlti had once occupied. It is cold in the catacombs. There are large-spider carcasses on the ground. There is a square room with a door going ahead, then one to the right. It's past three o'clock as they discover another cave in towards the northern door. Rocks fall pinning Berticus, but Nazzak frees him. Berticus slips through and then the rock falls, blocking the corridor. They try to lift the rock again and trap Berticus's hands beneath the slab.
Mrs Stonewall goes back to look into a different chamber and sees that a large area of the ceiling has fallen in.
The group have to head back to the sewers.
Mrs Stonewall sees a symbol. It is a cross with a broken circle above. They discover a cross section, straight ahead leads to a dead end with a ladder and a sewer grate to the streets of Myste-Hass. Outside, it is hard to see any landmarks or notable buildings through the bars.
Mrs Stonewall leaves her crowbar point back the way we've come and Father Howell marks the floor with chalk. They discover another door which leads back into the Myste-Hass Catacombs where Berticus once explored. However, the way forth is blocked.
Instead, they continue on, moving over a clean area of the sewers towards the grate to check where they are in the city.
Suddenly, Nazzak rises up inside a gelatinous cube, falling unconscious in the vicious acid. Something else disturbs the water, a tentacled beast apprehends Father Howell. Nazzak bursts from the gelatinous cube and Mrs Stonewall killed the tentacle beast with her Warhammer and a searing smite. The cube consumes Jerek, but Nazzak quickly cuts him free, killing the beast.
Berticus climbs up to look through the grate and see the Stone Warehouse. Sylleth's familiar, Kira flies up through the gap and sees that The Arena has been barricaded and the area is well lit.
Jerek arises from the grid and pretends to be drunk, emerging in his full Helvettian regalia he attempts to convince them that he is an old arena fighter. They try to strip him of his armour and weapons, claiming these are not to be worn in the town. They do not believe him and go to attack. Sylleth casts sleep on the men. One of the men falls unconscious. Father Howell kills the other with a sacred flame.
Nazzak hangs the guards up as if they're still on duty. Kira scouts the area, but she dissipates when she tries to enter the arena.
Jerek enters, there are a number of hobgoblins, including one with a huge beast. There are cages full of people. Around the perimeter there are spikes with bodies rotting, including Huricane, militia men and other gladiators.
They charge the guards. Nazzak rushes the creature and its rider, the individual carrying a jade-bladed sword. Berticus disarms the creature, but he pulls a jade-tipped spear from his saddle.
Ravaran is watching us from the stalls and those in the cages are all dummies. Mrs Stonewall screams that it is a trap.
A mist swirls along the floor and coalesces into a grey skin figure, his body splitting to reveal blue flesh beneath. The outer flesh is covered in white paint. Morthel moves to Nazzak and holds out a bottle towards the half orc. Nazzak gets sucked into the bottle. Jerek runs at the son of Tempress.
Morthel asks Jerek to renounce his power and be taken into his service. Mrs Stonewall is held.
Red light from the docks and the north end of the city. Father Howell sends a message to Corym - "Ravaran is here. At the arena. The prisoners are fake. The god creatures is here too." Ravaran blasts Sylleth and Father Howell with fire as they run. Sylleth makes Father Howell and himself invisible. Berticus joins them, and they run for the cover of houses, then drop down into the sewers.
Jerek is sucked into the flask, but Mrs Stonewall resists Morthel's power.
There are knoll voices form above the sewers who call for some of The Cleansed who will be able to sniff out their quarry. Berticus reveals his sword, to provide light. Three figure drop into the sewers, yellowed men in tattered clothing, with black eyes that shine pin pricks of light. The creatures have the ability to drain intelligence and charisma, turning Berticus into a literal idiot. Casting spells around the creatures drain you power.
More intelligent voices can be heard from the direction in which we have come. There is a huge brutish creature, with long arms.
Meanwhile, Bill, Tog and Brint are held up in a warehouse. They are ex-militia officers. Private Tog has a metal dog called Axle. Peeking out, they see a dwarf being dragged into a warehouse with one of The Cleansed. The hobgoblin uses an amulet to command The Cleansed.
The others run and then climb up through another access panel, emerging in the warehouse with the ex-militia, just as Bill rushes out to hit the hobgoblins. It becomes apparent that there is a huge grey creature as well, with a hobgoblin leading him on a chain.
There is a sudden vibration and the sky takes on a deep purple colour.
In combat, Berticus is feeble minded again. Him and Brint kill The Cleansed. Then they all swarm the drooling monstrosity. Eventually, the creature tries to run, but Sylleth kills him as he runs.
The party turns towards the building where the hobgoblins took the dwarf inside. Entering, they try to find where she was taken. There are stone steps inside that leads to a large room, with stone construction that is similar to the Myste-Hass Catacombs. There are piles of skulls in here.
A figure materialises here, a brown, furred body with a stag like husk on his body. "I am death. Step forward and offer yourself to me. It is I who decide when your time has come. This place is a domain of death, a place of reverence. You'll be humble. This is the house of Mordon."
Father Howell asks for Imogen's guidance, and he hears her voice, but she seems distressed.
Sylleth admits he has struck a bargain with Revios, but Mordon says he will accept Sylleth's homage. Then he noticed that the creature is in fact a long-lasting, major illusion.
Berticus incited Bill, Tog and Brint to join by offering Bill the Jade Longsword.
The group head through a doorway into a complex systems of catacombs. There is a hobgoblin who shouts out and then is immediately murdered by the Bill. There is very-old debris everywhere, swept to the sides of the corridor. There are urns with course, grey, sand-like powder beside them. There is a very large skeleton with a single eye socket. Berticus determines that there is a sense of undeath on the creature.
The ground shakes and debris falls from the ceiling.
Berticus attacks the skeleton which stays motionless, until eventually the eye lights up and beams a bolt of fire at Berticus. The skeleton then picks up to unconscious paladin and begins to carry him off. He throws Berticus into a crevice onto the wall, closing the door.
Bill is knocked unconscious by another blast, but Father Howell can only spare the dying on him and drag him away. Tog heals Bill. Berticus bursts out of his crypt, but Brint is knocked unconscious and then carried into another crypt. But, by some miracle he awakens.
Father Howell casts sacred flame, immobilising the skeleton. But, his connection with Imogen is faltering.
Opening these alcoves, they find that several people had been placed in these alive and died.
Another hobgoblin sees us. He is swiftly killed, and in chasing him the group see a room where many people are stung up. Mrs Stonewall has been stretched across a table, her hands about to be cut off by a human with a hatchet and a dirty-brown robe. Mehklan has been strung up, his hands and tongue intact. Mehklan has been saving people from the city. 7
Mehklan knows the prisoners are being kept in warehouses inside the walls, close to the Western Docks. There are many guards. Mehklan and Berticus fight on the idea of when necromancy should be used, whether either one is on the right path of Garr.
Free from their chains, Father Howell tends to the wounds of those hung up. The group rests and then Mehklan leads them across town to the warehouse where the prisoners are being kept. There are no guards or dead things outside. Normally there would be, including a number of humans they trust. However, these people are elsewhere. There are a couple of bodies of guards on the ground but the warehouse is otherwise empty.
The guard says that Mehklan had come in about half an hour ago and took the prisoners. He says the Mehklan came in hit them hard and then led the prisoners out.
