The Myste-Hass Calender

Haven Coleset looks out of the window, looking over cloudy Myste-Hass. He eats his breakfast with his wife and children, before they head to the docks to play. He puts on his militia uniform and sets out to work.

He hears a bell ringing.

Elsewhere, Ankhelos unleashes hail after hail of necrotic damage into his foes. Silent Stalkers fall upon them. They are fighting hard, but it is not enough.

Back in Myste-Hass, militia guards and Geoffrey are thrown from the wall as Malek smashes into the battlements. The demon floats just a few feet above the ground.

Malek bangs his staff on the ground, and a Nabassu emerges. He bangs it again, and two gaunt, red-fisted demons appear in the town.

Kishaan prays to Sardonyx, Ankhelos and Fate during the combat.

Malek moves around the battlefield, stabbing them whilst they are down.

Evandrielle becomes a giant eagle, then flies around delivering Geoffrey to the combat. Every time he gets near though, Malek seems to move away to focus on others.

Sylleth becomes dominated by Malek - he feels the strongest urge to assist Malek. He kills many militia guards with swathes of fire.

Geoffrey whispers Guilt when he draws his sword, his attacks leave necrotic scars after a flash of radiant light.

None of the militia guards survive the thrust of the fight, except those manning the balister and those that get to the level below and begin attacking the fire creatures, taking them down with the help of Crassus's magic.

Silent Stalkers arrive.

"Look around, here me now - Stalkers - take every soul."

The Silent Stalkers set upon townsfolk, cutting down villagers and reaching inside them to steal their souls.

Cao leaps up, twisting one of the balister bolts. He reaches towards the sky and dies.

Sylleth runs to Malek, now freed from the control of Malek and calls for his soul back. The power that fills him is unrivalled, stronger than anything than he has ever experienced. He rips his soul free and restores it to himself. The empty feeling within him dissipates, but the knowledge remains. Sylleth gets the urge to use the ability again immediately.

The ground shakes. The Silent Stalkers suddenly take to the air, abandoning their combats and flying for the skies.

Father Howell checks every single militia body for life. Nazzak collects up the dead bodies and lays them in a neat row at the base of the walls. Crassus uses control water from the well to put out the fires all over the city. Kishaan picks up Geoffrey. Evandrielle plays a soft song, whilst Cao looks to the distance, enjoying the wind on his skin.
