Kraken Greataxe

From Into the Wilds Wiki

DESTORYED

The Kraken Greataxe was an artifact taken from one of the goliaths which adventurers encountered in Briudor, when they met Ravaran for the first time.
The axe was destroyed when C'anis was killed by the weapon and the adventurers were forced to enter the axe plane to free his soul.

Axe Plain

Everything inside has been turned into a spirit fell that searches for fresh souls. They are all controlled by The Watcher. Killing The Watcher will release the other souls.
Inside the axe, there are lots of ruined buildings, a little like the architecture seen in Briudor. In the center, is a tower that looks similar to those seen in Anglan.
When the storm hits that is when The Watcher becomes visible, a black shape surrounded by the lightening.
Souls are taken to the tree and stripped as fuel for the eye. The eye has been full a dozen times. A great rupture drains the axe, but the adventurers never determined where that power goes.
The black haft, or tower, is an illusion.
