The adventurer arrive back at the tower with Engaro and Lorey's body. Cpt Percival Wainwright approaches offering information they procured during Operation Pincer.
The group clear the alter room in the Tower of Dariss and bring up Lorey, only to discover that the adventurers do not have a diamond of appropriate value for raise dead.
Lorey is left with Engaro in his tent, washing his body and watching over the corpse.
Percival prays at the alter, holding a necklace. He senses someone behind him, a presence. Then an entity talks with Percival, speaking on the topic of Lorey. The voice asks "What have you done for me that I should help you? What shall you give me? A multitude of souls plead, my time is more valuable than his. I am not a street vendor to haggle with. Think of Lorey. Yes, I know what you want and it isn't Lorey. If I want something, I get it. I don't give unless I get what I want. You wish to be the lord of the storm. Garr trades in souls. To give you Lorey would mean denying him a soul he desperately wants. How am I supposed to appease him. Offer me a soul and I will speak with Garr on your behalf."
The individual does not give his name. The presence moves away. Percival's amulet goes cold.
Reinhold identifies Dramos's necklace. It is a Genai Amulet of Fire Resistance, which Dramos gifts to Harbinger.
Gartok communes with nature. He senses more peace than he has ever experienced before. He senses animals, and then, above him in the Tower of Dariss he senses a brief, but intense, celestial presence.
No one has seen Nia since the incident with the dragon.
Dramos scoops up some loose stone from the Tower of Dariss.
Dramos and Harbinger begin making a deal with Percival, to employ him for a salary and provide a ship and crew.
The party rests and, refreshed, sets out in the morning.
Harbinger and Reinhold attempt to apprehend Percival in order to cleanse him of spell effects when he mentions that he spoke with a celestial being. However, Percival avoids the attempt.
The group heads out to the Halls of Resurrection. They see the Obsidian Tower hidden just behind the hills. A rockslide, which once covered the door, had been cleared away.
As soon as we enter the Halls of Resurrection, the corridors are very cold. The group head through the corridor, ignoring the doors and move into the sarcophagus room. There is a shadowy entity, floating somewhere in this room.
Gartok spots the golem stood in the corner of the room. There are glowing figures and a dark entity, a grey-withered women. She has no eyes, just skin over her nose and upper face. Half corporeal, half physical, she has a terrifying form.
The creature screams out knocking Harbinger unconscious and then the creatures move in, draining Percival of life. Dramos visibly ages by forty years.
Corym heals his allies up, just in time for the crystal golem to move in. Percival kills the creature with a percussive thunder attack after repeated attacks from all of the none-divine adventurers.
The creature collapses, distributing at least 20,000gp worth of diamond. Percival picks up two 500gp pieces. Crassus picks up a 700gp chunk, 100gp diamond, 300gp, 50gp, 70gp and 150gp. There are a further - 7x1000gp, 7x350gp, 10x200gp, 50x50gp, 65gpx10, 2000gp Diamond Dust and chunks of diamonds. These are distributed throughout the group.
There is a clear sense that there is more undead at the Halls of Resurrection.
Dramos teleports the group and the diamonds to the Tower of Dariss.
