New adventurers attempt a second trip north, facing a swarm of beetles on route. Moving onto the Quarry of the People, the group learns that their target has headed west. Convincing the quarry staff that Bellatrix is Harbinger, Father Howell acquires a cart and some rations and then the adventurers set off west. However, the sanctuary of Imogen is hiding a nasty secret - Yuan ti.

The new adventurers meet at The Hung Goat and are joined by a paladin of Sardonyx, Jerek. Setting out, the group reach The Harbour View Guest House where they return the all in important necklace to Remy. With promise of reward that evening, they head out to deal with unresolved issues at the well. On their journey, the party discovers an older lady who has hurt her ankle. They carry the lady to her home on a farmstead in the west. Reaching the well, the party journey down and discover the animated body of a murdered woman.
