The North Woods are located to the north of Myste-Hass, bordering the plains now converted for farmland and spanning from Myloch's Way to the western coastline.
The Hall Master, Sten, had been looking to rename the north woods, since they were aware of larger forests beyond the mountain pass, and, therefore, further north. However, the name, which had stemmed from convenience, seemed to stick.
Although close to the city, the woods were fairly unknown to Myste-Hass and there were rumours about ancient structures within the forest. Dramos and a number of other adventurers began the process of mapping the area. Indeed, the north woods were home to a number of ancient structures, which have proved problematic.
The large Genai Stone held at the Tower of Silma was used by the Bishop of Fate to open a portal to Anglan. This caused the hell-like landscape from Anglan to spill into the forest. After this issue was dealt with, the adventurers left the Genai Stone in the woods. For a reason yet unknown, the presence of the gem was consumed by one of the ancient trees and the north woods become torn between the shadowfell and the fey wild. The effect seemed to ease when adventurers defeated the anthropomorphised tree and took the Genai Stone back to the Tower of Dariss.
