Epona

This tribe is a cave-dwelling group of nomads who are renowned as great horse riders and trainers. Their land is located on the west coast of the island between the Boblogiaig to the south and the Demetae to the north. Unlike the other tribes of the island, the Epona ruling classes are made up entirely of females. Men are regarded as subservient members of their society and are kept primarily as breeding stock and workers or slaves. The tribe is led by Lady Avelina who is married to Citizen Kaine of Equil. As a result of this marriage there has been an exchange of land between Equil and Chevel, with the Equillians establishing a colony on Epona lands and the Chevellians founding a town on the east coast of Equil.
