Eamhain Bhraigh

This tribe lives in and around the forests of mid-eastern Chevel and is primarily a druidic society. Their land borders those of the Chevellauni to the west, the Brί Dάnae to the south, and the Fwnai to the north. The two main forests in this region are Tair Ysbryd, which lies in the middle of this tribal territory, and Widow Forest on the western border, which is home to the renowned wise woman, Osmanna. The forests provide the people of the Eamhain Bhraigh with their livelihood and in return the tribe is charged with maintaining the forests for future generations. The tribe provides most of the island’s timber, along with plants and herbs used in cooking, medicine and various ritual activities (e.g. mushrooms, truffles, mistletoe, and a multitude of berries). They also obtain resins, barks, vines and similar produce from the forests, which are used primarily in construction. They are also the main suppliers of amber to the Chevellian economy.
