History

Dalcimeer was first claimed in 2318 by elves traveling from the elven homeland of Nadarr. The island of Nadarr is seven days sail from Dalcimeer to the south west.
Dalcimeer was an uncharted area of land, remnants of Anglan that had remained on the mainland after the cataclysmic event that removed the core of Anglan from the world.
The area was incredibly fertile. The first group of elves settled in a heavily-wooded valley. Permanent structures were soon created, encompassing the natural aspects of the land. As with Nadarr, it is often difficult to distinguish between natural and built structure within Dalcimeer.
Temples, schools, colleges and libraries were all established within the capital of Yssma. The flourishing port of Avell is busy, bustling in multi-cultural exchanges. The port, and the surrounding boarder areas are highly scrutinized by King Myloch, whose concerns about cultural dilution and possible disease dominates all procedures. Kalia Nesquidarr has upheld the Kings and councils wishes concerning mixed breeding and mixed marriages, both are strictly forbidden.
Ruled over by an elected leader, but ultimately still under the rulership of Nadarr, they eventually broke with the homeland and became an independent country. While haughty, they have been involved in many of the conflicts that have occurred over the years and involved themselves in human politics.
