Chorranwg

Located along the south coast of Chevel is the Chorranwg tribe. They have the most mundane task of any of the tribes on the island, but also the most important. Whilst most of the other tribes grow crops and rear livestock, the Chorranwg do so on a grand scale and provide enough grain, meat, fruit, and vegetables to feed the entire population of Chevel. The tribe inhabits the most lush and green part of the island and, although not the richest of the tribes, they are highly revered amongst the other islanders. They are also well-known for holding many festivals and markets throughout the year, most of which are associated with particular deities, folk heroes, or particular farming practices (e.g. harvesting, crop sowing, lambing or calving, etc). As a result they are viewed as a remarkably happy group of people.
