The Forbidden Goddess - The Fallen Lady

She who created the world and the lives upon it. Tempress stole the device of creation, the Genai, from the one true god and used it to her own ends, filling the lands with her own creations. For her actions, she was hunted down by the other six gods and beaten in battle. Supposedly, she fell to the land with the Genai, never to be seen again. She is often refereed to as the forbidden goddess or the fallen lady.

Worshipers

As with all deities, the worshipers of Tempress come in a variety of forms.
Many believe Tempress to be dead, and, although she has many secret worshipers, the general populace are usually afraid to incite the wrath of the six prime deities by worshiping her.
Those that do, usually belong to small congregations, or even cults, which gather away from the prying eyes of others. In some countries the worship of Tempress is outlawed and a punishable crime. In others, it is just taboo and best kept secret from the disapproving clergy of other gods.
On the contrary, Tempress is heavily worshiped in The Void lands of Anglan. After Anglan was sucked into The Void, the people turned against Arcane magic and, for the most part, felt abandoned by the prime deities. Instead, they turned their prayers towards Tempress. As the creator, Tempress symbolises the will of the people and their strength to make their own choices, a motto fiercely held by the brave survivors in Anglan.
Tempress worshipers on the mainland are often worshipers of the Arcane. By her very nature, The Fallen Lady is intrinsically linked to the Genai and it is the shards of this fallen power, the Genai Stones powered in the earth and the Ley Lines left int heir wake, which ultimately provides Arcane power.
Clerics and paladins of Tempress are known to have no powers or spells. On the whole, this aids in keeping their religion secretive. Some select followers can demonstrate minor abilities, which they claim prove that their goddess still lives. But, Tempress worshipers are individuals who demonstrate faith and loyalty towards The Creator without the aid of her direct intervention.

Temples

Tempress is usually depicted as a female figure robed from head to toe all in white, with equally white skin. Often, iconography just includes her face and feminine face. More expensive depictions are sometimes cast in ivory, pearl or white gems.
Being forbidden, most mainland countries have no major temples to Tempress. Instead, worshipers construct shrines and places of prayer in their own homes - often in basements and attics.
With no standardised religion, decor and worship varies heavily from one congregation to another, but it is commonplace for her communicants to dress in long white robes and paint their skin white in tribute.
Anglan has a great cathedral to Tempress.
