- Nazzak, accompanied by Sylleth, finds Father Howell and Olive and whispers "Dad/Olive. I'm in visidible and in trouble. There is a bug we need to kill first, then I need to hand myself in for breaking the law. Til is angry wiv me. I'm sorry."
- REWIND IN TIME, and we hear about Evandrielle and how she was safe within the Elven Quarter during The Sack of Msyte-Hass.
- Father Howell is woken by Nazzak. Howell sets off to find Olive, but accidentally bumbs into Master Yisban who persists to follow him around as he seeks the elderly dwarf. Evandrielle sees the altercation and heads over.
- Two Helvettians come over and question the group, showing utter disbelief when Evandrielle claims to be Father Howells lover. Evandrielle informs them that high priest Corym once slept with a woodland creature, specifically a deer.
