The group discuss who are going to collect up the egs from Nep-Tor's nest. Jux sees a spider crawl from a hole and steals one of the eggs, carrying it up into the hole. It has metal joints, like Nep-tor, but a flesh body.

In the distance, Jux hears the steady, rhythmic pounding as if someone is digging.

Ato sneaks in to put the eggs in Bonk's bag, but the spider emerges from its hole again. Juz slings a stone over. It hits the wall and clatters, waking Nep-tor.

Behind Nep-Tor, something is draped down from into the wall.

The spider sprays web at Ato. Jux comes in and drags Ato out. But, as Nep-Tor comes forward, it reveals a glowing crystal with long vines trailing into the glowing part of the wall.

Gonk tries to move into the cave, to see what is occuring, but Smol attempts to hit Bonk in the back of the head.
