Ulborin arrives back in town. Marcus calls for a meeting because the undead goliaths had been trying to enter the city and were killed by Helvettians. On the way to Briudor, the party must cross a fast moving river. Harbinger falls in and gets swept away before Rasvyn comes to the rescue, transforming her into a snake. Heading into the valley, the group find a camp of goliaths flying the Blood Hand flag outside the city walls. Further away from the walls, they encounter a selection of lizard creatures occupying an old tower outside the magical barrier. After a brief discussion with these creatures, combat breaks out and a black dragon arrives. Later evaluation suggests that the dragon was in fact an illusion created by a lizard folk shaman. The group decide to head back to Myste-Hass, convinced they’re being lured into a trap. As they set off, Aldarian charges off to join the enemy in pursuit of power.

A party of adventurers set out towards the northern mountain pass. Noticing a group moving stealthily east, the party pursue to investigate and find Fletcher enslaving a band of orcs. Evandrielle convinces Fletcher to give up the magical necklace that imprisons the group and he runs off into the mountains, pursued by the party. The orcs chase after Fletcher and beat him to death. Moving on, the Myste-Hass adventurers attempt to scout out the dragon worshipper camp. Whilst scouting, Ulborin is attacked by a dark elf who submits to the dragon worshippers when his life is nearly taken by the party.

After some brief shopping, the party heads north. The party spots giants in the eastern mountains and then they move on, circling around the northern lake from an alternative route. Reaching the magical teleportation circle, the Myste-Hass adventurers decide to venture up to the cave mouth on the eastern slopes. Here the party encounters a mage who uses Time Stop on the party. After a brief encounter the group capture the mage and question him. Moving into the cave, the group find another mirror and Harbinger and Gartok are sucked through onto the the other side. Faced with soldiers, they leap from a castle window and those left behind commune with a knowing voice from the otherside of the mirror. Running through the mirror, the party somehow manages to convene in the main hall with the The Deacon. A deadly combat breaks out. After several near deaths, the Myste-Hass adventurers are forced to run.
