Following information imparted by the goliaths, a party moves north in search of the White Hand. It has come to the attention of the heroes that the goliaths are undead. Yet, they seem to be corporal and intelligent like normal people. Pressing past the mountain range, an ancient and abandoned city called Briudor is discovered in a valley beyond the mountains. The city seems surrounded by some kind of magical gate that may be deactivated. Once within, the group encounters a mage type figure called Ravaran, along with armoured companions. Pressing on, the Myste-Hass heroes release a vampiric woman from a prison. She claimed to be cursed by a powerful witch long ago, because she failed to worship Morthel. When the situation grows tense with the mage and his companions, the vampiric aids the party in dispatching the enemies before Ravaran uses his magic to escape.
