A group of adventurers head into The Crypts below the city to make a deal with the demon Malekranekronic. Malek names his mortal enemy, a female demon known as Throlti, and agrees to a contract with Skamarir, Ulborin, Moribund, Rasvyn, Harbinger, Sten & Vant. This contract states the party will free Malek if he kills the vampire then leaves the city and remains far away for 100 years. Before he sets off in search of the vampire, Malek suggests that Moribund is Throlti’s child. He reveals that Throlti has four children - two are on this plane. When Malek finally locates and kills the vampire, the undead creature is leaving the gates with Corporal Gaffe and Sten’s Sister, Milvere.
