Tom's Code - 321321
Lorey goes to attack Dariss, asking him if he wrestles. There is a hole in the stained glass window. Reinholt asks Dariss if he remembers what happens in the old tower. Lorey runs in and pummels Dariss. He silences Lorey, then is held.
Dariss says that people should not hear the voices of their gods, that is Fate's doing. The gods are guides, but it is the choice of people as to what they do. They watch and guide, but they do not lend their voices until Fate used this girl and the Harbinger to directly influence people.
Dariss refuses to answer on the topic of what happened to Lorey in the old temple. Dariss says words can be danced around with Peridot.A vein on Dariss's forehead begins to pulse - he is not happy with being questioned. Then he answers correctly.
Dariss suggests that Lorey worships for his own glory, not his god. He claims that he is quick to anger.
Dariss wants to be freed from the room and reunited with his brothers and sisters. He still feels prayers and war empowering him, but can't extend his will beyond the room.
He felt the Divine Gate open before he appeared there.
The other demons, those of Ankhelos's kin, are nothing compared to Ankhelos. Fate must be beaten to the ground, over and over until he can offer no more influence.
Dariss only needs prayer to sustain him. Every small utterance of prayer sustains the gods.
Check that Fate has not harmed the other gods. Many of the other towers have fallen from memory.
The gods cannot be harmed beyond the gate.
Lorey offers to stay and tell Dariss of his exploits. Dariss has already heard this, Lorey speaks in his sleep.
Dariss is obsessed as to why of all the world, all of Tempress, he is in the Tower of Dariss.
Corym carries in the scorpion armour for Dariss to have a look at. He's outraged.
Gartok and Dramos explore the exposed blood-pool room. There are splatters of blood on the left-hand side of the room, but not footsteps. This liquid has clearly slopped over the edge.
Dramos looks at the barrel. It's in really good condition with no writing on it. It's empty, with a residue of blood.
Harbinger has a conversation about what to do with the blood pool, whether to use it or how the blood could be destroyed. Leaving Dramos
Harbinger then heads to speak with Sten. Goraz and four guards are present, Sten sat at the centre of the mini hearing room. Harbinger works hard to convince Sten for a little leniency. Goraz has funded elite men to come and weed out Fate worshippers in town. Harbinger begs Sten to turn his money towards praising the six, raising the other gods, instead of devoting all his waking energy to Fate. Sten agrees that he will question those suspected of Fate worship, imprison them and only kill them some of the time.
Moalmhuire arrive at the Tower of Garr. He raises two undead companions and digs up a coffin. Heller's corpse is inside. Maolmhuire Artor casts speak with dead on the corpse.
"Tell me of the creature in the font of blood, Trayzian."
"Why should I impart this information, you are beneath me."
"You are dead. I am the high priest of Garr, now answer me."
"My servant - a slave - a captain, always seeking to be freed. As long as she is continually fed, she will survive. It was worth angering Garr just a little to have her at my fingertips."
"Who at the Temple of Garr is not to be trusted?"
Heller calls Maolmhuire a hypocrite because he raises dead. He claims that Garr must hate you.
"Mehklan cannot be trusted at all. He will kill you and take your place, I knew this as I beat him."
Heller is way too animated, and when Maolmhuire tries to close the coffin and end the spell early, Heller tries to fight it.
Maolmhuire loads up Heller's coffin and the two dead skeletons - Barry and Paul - into the clown car.
Koshir greets the head priest, before Maolmhuire sets off back to town.
Maolmhuire rides back towards town, seeing Corym and Reinholt coming back to Myste-Hass, with Barry and Paul in the back. The coffin can't be seen.
Back in town, Dramos goes to The Halls to speak with Sten privately. Sten just dismisses Goraz, but refuses to dismiss the guards. Dramos tells the hall master about the pool. Sten wants it destroyed. He suggests that Dramos finds someone who has the same motivation in order to guard the pool.
Dramos goes to find Goraz. Sesay is making a steaming cup of coffee for Goraz who looks on. He leads Dramos into someone else's office. They talk about being tiefling. Dramos wants a mentor, someone who can explain tiefling customs and behaviours. Goraz says there are three palces you can go to immerse yourself in our culture - Anglan, Mateer about a month's travel from here on the edge of Ghost's Drift where there is an open rift and Wolfspine where there is a straggler community. Apparently, Goraz didn't fit in here because he wanted to do more good than them.
Goraz jokes at the end, "there is no need to thank me, after all you are the adventurers of Fate."
Maolmhuire is taken to the Temple of Garr. Mehklan is doing a ceremony for a man who died of a stroke, his wife sedated.
Maolmhuire stares off with the acolyte of Garr, shunning him. They trade hidden insults, then Maolmhuire casts a spell that forces Mehklan to be a good priest and follow his commands, be a loyal servant.
A fresh delivery of Fatists have been delivered. Maolmhuire asks Mehklan to take one of the bodies to his chamber for a conversation, which gives the priest an incredible migraine.
There is a tide mark on the edge of the font that is about two inches lower than it was when Maolmhuire left. Maolmhuire gives the body to the font, pouring blood in until he tries to stop it and the woman inside grabs his arm and begins pulling him in.
Mehklan is at the end of the corridor when Maolmhuire leaves and locks the door.
Dramos heads to Vexia, getting the supplies and then the group begin trying to fix the hole that Gartok made.
Harbinger sees a tendril of blood splatter onto Maolmhuire face and tries to get in his mouth. Harbinger moves in, looking at the brain like body of the creature before it explodes blood on everyone.
Dramos opens the flask and attempts to suck in the blood creature, but it doesn't go in.
The creature causes exhaustion, steals magical items, and deals a lot of damage. Reinholt banishes the creature, but Maolmhuire passes towards death before Corym can get to him.
Darkness finds Maolmhuire, he hears the call of Garr - "Are you ready?"
Fate appears. He claims that he has seen the path and Maolmhuire's soul is his. He then puts on the mask of Mordon.
No one can get to him fast enough. Dramos drags the body, then grabs the diamond. Corym pulls the body closer. Gartok turns into a horse, then carries Harbinger close enough to pull Maolmhuire back from the other side with a rivivfy.
To Do -
Fix the wall and protect the blood pool.
Go to the library and research the Star Arms.
Check the quarry.
Go to the Great Green to meet Benadictor.
