- Lorey goes to attack Dariss, asking him if he wrestles. There is a hole in the stained glass window. Reinholt asks Dariss if he remembers what happens in the old tower. Lorey runs in and pummels Dariss. He silences Lorey, then is held.
- Dariss says that people should not hear the voices of their gods, that is Fate's doing. The gods are guides, but it is the choice of people as to what they do. They watch and guide, but they do not lend their voices until Fate used this girl and the Harbinger to directly influence people.
