Several guild members visit a tea house known as The Rising Sun for the first time and discover that it allows them to enter the underdark for a limited time. The heroes arrive in a mushroom village and meet with Lavern. From here they encounter an elven fleet and learn of the dragon, Fafnir, occupying a castle protected by magic which can only be breached by two artifacts. Looking into an alternative route into the castle, the party is driven away by spiders.
