The Myste-Hass Calender

In the Lizardfolk camp of Ya-hun, seven adventurers gather - Big Gurl Smak-R, Iriiss, Resk, Quetzalcoatl, Vashk, Grokashk and Uknaga. Each opens their hand to reveal a blue-painted pebble, others in the village have red and yellow pebbles. The head of the village is the head shaman, Shress, a small, robed lizardfolk wearing a robe similar to the pink skinned.
Only one moon remains and the clutch must be protected. Chief Vuk has decreed that there must be blessings for each of the clutch before the hatch, to ensure Nep-Tor does not come. Seek out Sithree's blessing, travel to her shrine and make an offering. Then bring back a blessing to protect the clutch.
Each group is in competition with others, and one is led by the black-scaled bully, Uxik. He has another lizardfolk, second in command but totally subservient - Urzozk.
Chief Vuk will honour the first group back, including the pick of meat from the griffon. The shaman will also offer a personal blessing. But, if Nep-Tor comes again then the Dark Eye Tribe will have to join with one of the other tribes. We are stronger than the wood face.
Travel to wear the green runs strong, and the sun rises. You may show honour to the other competitors, but if you don't make it back you are too weak for the Dark Eye Tribe. The tribe is about two-hundred strong.
Chief Vuk spends no time with the lesser lizards. He only talks with his mate, his son and the shaman. The village
The Grey Run, are the homes of Wood Faces - a bunch of green skins, wearing masks intricately carved and painted of varying size.
Takar-Hai is a shrine to the god of death in the north. It is not a temple, just a shrine. Further north is place where 120 moons a great battle happened, Steksor was defeated, but the remnants of his army remains in the north.
Vashk whispers into Uxik's mind. Vashk whispers that Urzozk will kill the black scale. They move north.
This land is strewn with ruins from the civilisation before, from Steksor's war.
The third group consists of three greens and a blue, a smaller lizardfolk.
Zoteer approaches from the yellow-pebble team. He suggests that they all try to stop Uxik from winning. Zoteer has been bullied heavily by Uxik.
Uxik has a steel mace, which he produces whilst Vashk makes roaring noises.
Shaman Shress appears again. He has spoken to the gods who says our people will be blessed.
The group dash off, reaching the water and dive into the river. But, whilst crossing lilly pads a crocodile attacks and bites Uknaga. One of the crocodiles is killed, but another swims deep.
The group abandon the crocodile when they see a flash of a competing team disappearing into the jungle ahead. Four sets of lizardfolk tracks appear on the bank and then move off east. Beneath is footprints made from two solid shapes.
Uknaga scouts ahead and hears voices talking in a language he does not understand. Two figures with pink skin, wearing cloth and carrying swords. They are wet. One of the voices says "what are you doing here in draconic?", but the individual is not talking to Uknaga. When Uknaga speaks up, the man is individual is surprised and calls him to emerge. They try to coax out Uknaga by claiming that they have a lizardfolk with them who is injured. They back off, leaving behind Re Tun, a yellow pebble lizardfolk who was attacked by pink skin.
There is a bunch of lizardfolks heading east, then they move back, and then continue east again.
Grokashk offers up the body of the yellow-pebble lizardperson to Takar, ritually cutting out his heart.
Reaching a rise, the group see three ruins spread across the landscape ahead. Quetzalcoatl thinks the eastern temple is most aligned with Sithree. Grokashk notices movement from a lizard on the central structure.
A female lizard, Timiss, appears. She has no tribe. She is worshipper of the gods, and asks to help. She says the tribe does not agree. Resk determines she is a fiend. She is looking for Steksor. They attack her. She casts sleep, affecting a number of the party. She disappears, saying she was going to keep an eye on Shaman Shress.
Meanwhile, Iriiss runs off to the eastern ruins and finds a lizardman dead on the ground. There is a tent and inside are two well-made cots. A fight has occurred. One cot is stained with blood and there is a steel sword. The bodies are gone. There is a chest with a stack of folded clothes, a small bag full of gold disks and a book.
The shrine is definitely dedicated to Sithree.
The dead lizardfolk has been dead a while and we do not recognise it. There is a scrap of bone with a clawed hand etched on it. There is advanced blackened rot on the mid section of the body.
On the top of the alter, there is a circular design with etchings of fire, water and earth. There is a large cat - a tiger - near the temple. It attacks. It is killed, though Big Gurl Smak-R and Quetzalcoatl are both badly hurt. Although, Big Gurl Smak-R rests and eats the tiger's heart, offered to Takar by Grokashk, Quetzalcoatl looks for more offerings for Sithree.
Iriiss detects magic in the alter. Quetzalcoatl and Resk assist, then everyone except Big Gurl Smak-R. The wind blows, ruining the display but leaving a highly-polished black stone which remains in the slot where the flowers had remained.
It is now late afternoon, and the group decide to return home. Stealthing through the forest, the group spot Uxik about 200 feet away. The adventuring party try to head left, sneaking past Uxik, but the black scale is looking right. His companion is not though. Resk stays where he is watching the pair on the water's edge.
Resk challenges Uxik. He pushes his companion towards the tree and starts moving towards Uxik. He says that Resk needs protection, for their are dangerous things out here. He says there is no time for this and the adventurers should get to the camp where he will kill us. He seems in control. He says it will be a mistake to kill Resk out here. Yellow and red rock are both dead.
Urzozk comes across the rest of the adventurers and tells them to stop. He says it is bad if you kill. Things don't die here, they don't go to Takar.
Many grey skins came from trees, killed yellow stone and then they get up. Uxik waits, he wants to take the blessing. He tries to threaten Uxik.
Vashk whispers into Uxik's mind. Resk retreats into the grass, hiding. Uxik charges at him. Urzozk takes a swipe at Vashk as he tries to get past, knocking him unconcious.
Iriiss charges in with his tentacle and his steel sword that he found from the tent, slicing Uxik.
Grokashk sees a single figure stood far off in the distance, watching over the
Uxik is clearly afraid of the dead things.
As Quetzalcoatl casts spare the dying on Vashk, he takes necrotic damage, some kind of magical energy being released from the body. Quetzalcoatl takes the blessing from his unconscious friend.
Urzozk runs off, swimming across the water.
Big Gurl Smak-R runs in killing Uxik and feeding from his neck, but then awakens as undead, throwing Grokashk and Big Gurl Smak-R away. The group flees. Uxik follows lethargically, but makes no attempt to follow and then turns of right into the forest.
Shaman Shress has very long fingers and receives the blessing from the blue stones. Another lizardfolks, Gukk, the chiefs son comes over. His scales have a shiny sheen. He seems concerned that Shaman Shress is making decisions and harvesting information without the chief. Gukk invites the group to dinner in honour of their victory and wants to discuss the undeath seen in the north.
They spend the night feasting on griffon meat and talking with chief and his son.
