Marcus

Marcus was a Helvettian soldier, in charge of the legions sent from Helvettia to Myste-Hass. Marcus's adminstrative role in the city grew after Sten's incident with Var Kartark. But, his primary duties were commanding his own men and running the Helvettian Garrison within the city walls and beyond at the Northern Pass.

Marcus was captured during the Sack of Myste-Hass and strung up on the city walls to die alongside many other notable citizens. On discovering this, adventurer sought to, at first, kill him and prevent further suffering, and then, when they got close enough, actually rescue him. Neither attempt works, and Marcus was killed in the meteor swarm called by Ravaran onto the adventurers.
