God of Luck

Luck, chance or fate - these are the tools of Sardonyx. Many times has she been called upon before the throw of a dice, or in the face of questionable odds.
After the goddess Tempress turned against her fellow deities and created the World of Tempress, each of the six remaining gods, often referred to as the prime deities, chose to take up an aspect of life to watch over. Sardonyx chose luck.

Worshipers

As with all deities, the worshipers of Sardonyx come in a variety of forms.
Given her domain, Sardonyx is often the patron of gamblers, entertainers, mercenaries and thieves.
Clerics and paladins of Sardonyx tend to follow a more noble path. These devotees are known for defending the downtrodden, the unfortunate and the destitute. They seek to balance the scales, often choosing to fight with those faced with the most unfavourable odds, particularly combat and wars which are supposedly unwinnable.
Priests of Sardonyx are typically ambiguous and changeable religious leaders, they offer aid, healing and blessings depending on the whim of their goddess, perhaps the throw of a dice, a choice of a card or the toss of a coin.
There is no particular uniform that defines worshippers of sardonyx, but some churches wear her symbol on embroidered tabards, cloaks and shields for recognisability.
