- The path of piety is available to all character classes, but you can only gain piety from one deity at a time. If your character loses faith or changes direction with their beliefs, they will begin losing, or have all piety points removed. These boosts (or obstacles, depending on your perspective) are for flavour and to encourage good role playing. Piety will be rewarded or removed at the DM's discretion.
Earning and Losing Piety
- You honour Imogen when you demonstrate compassion, value community and encourage altruism in the face of hardship. You encourage love and fertility in all people and in nature by carrying out acts such as:
- Blessing a union.
- Turning a wild field into fertile cropland.
- Offering mercy to friend or foe.
Your piety level decreases if you commit acts such as:
- Preventing individuals from cultivating passion and love.
- Giving in to wanton fury and destruction.
- Destroying a settlement's food or water source.
Piety 3+ : Votary of Imogen
- You have advantage on persuasion checks.
Piety 10+: Devotee of Passion
- You can cast 'Enthrall' once per long rest.
Piety 25+: Love’s Disciple
- By performing an hour-long ritual, you can conjure enough grapes to fill three vials (4 ounces each) of wine. Each vial serves as a standard potion of healing for 24 hours, after which it loses this property. Once you use this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
Piety 50+: Champion of Imogen
- You can increase your Wisdom or Charisma score by 2.
