Another group of adventurers travel into the underdark and find three sea creatures hidden in a barn. One is captured and psychically transmits the name Thuul. The heroes release the creature. Later, they enter the lower spider caves and find a secret entrance to a crypt containing four caskets. They solve the puzzle of the crypt and retrieve the first piece of The Sunstone.
