The heroes intend to ambush the camp, but the ground collapses in the charge and the party is separated under the rubble. Investigation reveals a guardian who protects the place, but [[Gartok Beartooth|Gartok]] convinces the creature to let the group pass. The adventurers discover a chamber with a sarcophagus and release a powerful vampire, [[Gamesh]], who escapes as a mist.
