After much preparation, the group travels far north. The party arrives at the cave system above the lake and heads through the mirror into the [[Fallen Palace]]. Inside, the group silence and kill a guard then set off down into the palace. The adventurers release prisoners from the cells and discover an avatar of [[Peridot]], also previously incarcerated. However, it is all a ruse and [[The Deacon]] goads the party into a discussion. A huge fight erupts and as the party finally starts to hurt the magic user, he activates the [[Genai Stone]] causing a massive explosion which takes out many of the heroes.
