Xafiq's Lair is a located in the far east, past the Eastern Swamp, at the edge of the estuary.
The lair was constructed by an elementalist, Xafiq, who lives and developed his powers in this complex. Xafiq worked hard to keep his lair free from the influence of gods. He used something called 'the way of the eye' to achieve this. Instead, the place is guarded by lots of elemental creatures and magic.
Within the lair, adventurers encountered a rock elemental, an undead behir, water elementals, fire elementals, gorgons and the spirit of Xafiq himself.
Adventurers also discovered the skeleton of a warrior wearing magical plate armour, and an amulet with a symbol of Zadak on it.
There were two Soul Jars of interest located within the lair. One with a male soul and one with a female inside.

The party and the male Harbinger return to the elementalist’s lair and explore further, but their efforts are halted when they encounter two gorgon-type creatures who petrify a number of the party, including the male Harbinger. The survivors are left to carefully consider how the afflicted can be safely transported back to town via Gartok’s strength and the horses.
