The Old Temple

The original Temple of Garr is stone-built building devoted to the worship of Garr, . The building had a simple prayer room, fitted with wooden pews and a round alter that sits beneath a circular opening in the temple roof - a popular homage to the symbol of Garr. There were a number of smaller rooms for various purposes.
The clergy and leader of the temple were murdered, when a vampire burst through the floor, revealing the hidden Myste-Hass Catacombs beneath where the creature had been hiding.
Later, adventurers tampered with a giant red Genai Stone within the Myste-Hass Catacombs, once connected to some kind of defense system for the city. This caused the collapse of a portion of the catacombs and the destruction of the temple.

The New Temple

After the destruction of original temple, Berticus, paladin of Garr assumed the mantle of head priest and was gifted a large warehouse by the Hall Master, Sten. This new building was located just off the Myste-Hass Market Square, near the Arena, opposite the warehouse that had been used as the Warehouse of Fate. The head of the temple was assisted by Mehklan, an ambitious priest of Garr, and the aspiring cleric, Maolmhuire.
Eventually, Berticus was called away by officials in the church on Garr business. A new cleric, Heller, was appointed head of the Temple of Garr.
